The hidden d o o r

A couple of months back I was commissioned a painting by an art enthusiast 🙂

Inspired by one of my earlier works, I created a happier version of the existing.

Here are the process pictures showing how I created this work from start to finish. Hope you enjoy to see the process as much as I enjoyed painting it.

Old art work liked by the client used as reference

Acrylic on Canvas

10″ x 8″

Cutting the canvas to the required size and making guidelines

finger situation

hand situation

Long hours of work can take a toll on your back, so, the head situation 😉

In fact, lying with a hanging head for five minutes is equivalent to having a shot of coffee. You are good to go again soon.

Acrylic on Canvas

42″ x 36″

The painting finally made its journey to South Africa

Love this frame

(The choice of frame was my client’s)

So thrilled to see it hanging at this cozy corner 😀
